Business development Representative
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Specialist located in Chattanooga, TN, with some opportunities for remote work for the right candidate. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and generating new leads, securing new business contracts, and providing excellent customer service to FreightBase clients.
Qualifications
Sales experience
Market Research skills
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills both face-to-face and digital.
Experience in Lead Generation
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred, but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Experience in freight transportation industry is preferred
Compensation
Salary + Uncapped Commission

Drayage REPresentative
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Drayage Specialist. The Drayage Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transport of goods between ports, rail yards, and warehouses. Daily tasks include prospecting for new business, tracking container availability, coordinating with drivers and dispatchers, and ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Knowledge of container drayage
Ability to generate new business
Excellent organization and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong customer service skills
Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with drayage operations is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software
